Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the DisputeFlow application ("Service") through the Shopify platform, you ("Merchant," "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use or install the application.

2. Description of Service

DisputeFlow provides software tools designed to help Shopify merchants manage chargebacks. Our services include automatically collecting order data, generating AI-assisted dispute responses, drafting rebuttal letters, and creating structured evidence dossiers.

Disclaimer: DisputeFlow provides evidence preparation tools but does not guarantee the outcome or winning of any chargeback dispute. Dispute decisions are ultimately made by the issuing banks and payment processors.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

As a user of the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated evidence and rebuttal letters for accuracy before submitting them to your payment processor.
  • You remain solely responsible for meeting any chargeback response deadlines set by Shopify or your payment gateway.
  • You must ensure that the information provided to DisputeFlow, including order details and fulfillment records, is accurate and lawful.

4. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered via subscription plans. By selecting a subscription, you agree to the Shopify billing terms. All charges, including monthly recurring fees and any usage-based billing, will be processed directly through your Shopify invoice. You may cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin panel.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DisputeFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, lost revenue from chargebacks, data loss, or other intangible losses arising from your use or inability to use the Service. Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the software subscription.

6. Data Usage

By using the Service, you grant DisputeFlow permission to access, process, and analyze the specific Shopify store data required to generate dispute evidence. We handle this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership over your store data.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your agreement by uninstalling the application. Upon termination, certain provisions regarding liability limitation and data ownership will survive.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the application following the posting of updated terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
